Changes To Overdraft Privilege Pay Are Coming
Credit Union of Texas offers a service called Overdraft Privilege Pay that helps you avoid the inconvenience of returned checks or denied transactions in the event of inadvertent overdrafts. There is no monthly fee for this service, your account will be charged only if and when you use Overdraft Privilege Pay. New federal legislation requires that we ask you to “Opt-In” or agree to receive overdraft coverage by August 15, 2010. Under this new law we will no longer be able to pay your overdrafts on ATM transactions and everyday debit card transactions unless you notify us that you would like to receive this benefit.

We encourage all of our members with Debit and ATM Cards to opt-in to retain their Overdraft Privilege Pay benefits. Click here to learn more and to complete the Opt-In form.
