Alternative Teacher Certification Loan to help with expenses to earn certification

Classroom Supply Loan

  • Subject to credit approval

Home Possible Neighborhood Solution Teacher Program
  • Must be an employee of an accredited or state - recognized private or public school, certified teacher or administrator in an education agency; or an employee of a post secondary level educational institution. 
  • Purchase or Refinance up to 100% financing with eligible seconds up to 105% 
  • Reduced mortgage insurance requirements

Tools for Schools
Campus Representative Program—Our representatives help to spread the word about the many benefits of CUofTX membership with their fellow employees.

School Planners—CUofTX produces and distributes an academic planner every year for school district staff to make it easier to plan their year.

Adopt-a-School Program—Each of our branch locations has adopted a local area school. Our staff volunteers their time to assist teachers and help enrich the educational experience for the students.

Seminars/Presentations—We sponsor several seminars for school employees each year and our staff is also available to schools to teach students about how credit union's work.

School Events—CUofTX is actively involved in new teacher orientations and back-to-school events each year.

Teacher Thank You Cards (links are on the right)—Say thank you to your favorite teacher with one of our downloadable thank you cards.

Dollars for Scholars—Credit Union of Texas helps students fund their education with our annual Scholarship Award.

Student Checking—Special interest-bearing checking account available to students members age 12-24.

Pay-for-Grades—All CUofTX Student Checking Account holders in grades 6-12 are eligible to participate in our quarterly cash drawing. To be included in the drawing, students should deliver their six or nine week report card to the nearest Branch location prior to these deadlines:
