Regular Checking Account
When you keep an average daily balance of $750 or more, your Regular Checking account is free of a monthly service charge. If your average daily balance is less than $750, the charge is $6 monthly, but you still earn interest. Interest is paid monthly on the average daily balance. You have unlimited check writing, and free CUofTX ATM usage. Your account can also be accessed using Telephone Teller, Home Banking and a Visa Check Card**.

Carry a combined CUofTX deposit balance of $4,000 or more, and pay no monthly service charge on your Mature Options Checking Account. Get the best of both worlds. Take advantage of CUofTX's competitive deposit rates, and save on your checking account service charge. Your aggregate deposit balance can be in our high-yield checking, savings, CDs, IRAs and money markets. This interest-bearing account only requires $100 to open and requires no minimum balance in checking. Access your account using Telephone Teller, Home Banking and your Visa Check Card**.

Student Checking Account
Special checking account for members age 12-24. This interest-bearing checking account features no monthly service charge and requires only $25 to open. Overdraft protection is available. Members under 18 require an adult joint owner. Account holders in grades 6-12 are eligible for a quarterly "Pay for Grades" drawing. You have easy access to your account using Telephone Teller and Home Banking.
